Good morning my fellow Hivers, welcome to my blog. I carried out my cleaning as always. The environment was littered with various plastics, sachet of water, wraps of biscuits and sweets, polythene etc. I packed all the refuse in the garbage bags and disposed them off properly. The rainy season is here, we need to prepare adequately to keep ourselves clean and free from rodents, insects etc that may seek refuge in our homes.
Also , the rainy season also brings an increase in mosquito breeding. Mosquitoes require stagnant water to lay their eggs and breed. If there are any water puddles or containers left around the house it can hold water, and become a breeding ground for mosquitoes. This increases the risk of mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue fever etc.
Moreover, pests like ants, cockroaches, and rodents are also more likely to seek refuge in your home during the rainy season. They are attracted to warmth, moisture, and food sources. These pests can contaminate your food, damage your property, and spread diseases. To prevent pests from entering your home and to manage waste properly during the rainy season,
