Hey guys, I hope you all have a good day and are doing fine! Today I had my first experience with a #cleanplanet walk and it was a great fun! Every now and then I heard about these activities but never have been part of it before.
Tanks to @rivalzzz we were equipped perfectly with bags and grabbers
It's always a smart thing to combine a work with some pleasure, so we had lovely @kreklow with us to tell something about the history of the area. We were just around the German-Belgian border close to Aachen and started at the famous #KuKuK.
He was not only telling interesting stories but also showiing attention to the @worldmappin community
So while exploring the area, learning some history and having nice chats with @sunsea , @detlev , @nathalie-s , @borniet , @louis88 , @glideglobe and @masterswatch we cleaned the area and collected a fair amount of trash.
Happy dandegrischdine after 4 km, 5000 steps and a full bag of trash!
Nice places were added by the way to explore like the "Zyklopensteine" were people believe that these are heads of dead cyclopes who in darkness wake up and come back to live to eat humans passing by.
Even some European holly was to find all over the place wich I never had seen before!
Now I am lookong forward to having the next clean-planet walk since you are doing so many different good things at the same time! I am definitely motivated for more!
