I have been doing a lot of thinking recently and found out there are lots of things I would love to correct if given the opportunity to travel back in time but will this wish of mine ever come through? I believe each and everyone of us if given the opportunity would want to do certain things in a particular way which would yield a great impact to the world and society at large. But the bitter truth remains that it's impossible. What has passed has passed, we can only try to be a better version of ourselves.
Living in the past while in the present has done more harm than good causing people to become a shadow of themselves overtime. I just say that in as much it's not going to be easy to forget the past or go back to make amends, for our own good we should learn to live in the present striving to make the future better. One simple truth is that a better tomorrow has a way of relieving us of every negativity so instead of me still sulking in the past, I have decided to move on. At least I now have some certain knowledge which would help me to be better in the aspect I have failed and not repeat the same mistakes again one thing I am grateful for.
Do I still dwell in the past? Not at all. Have I moved on? Of course yes and I wish everyone would follow suit. But again if it's not going to be easy to let go of the past yourself, it's advisable to seek help by talking to a trusted fellow or professional.
I also did my cleaning activity for today and it was fun cleaning my environment as a clean environment equals to a healthy environment and mental stability. 😊
