I have finally discovered the secret to a clean spotless and sparking home, and its none other than a home without kids. Otherwise there are the scattered tiny toys, the mystery stains you don’t know the root and the never ending pile of laundry. So let’s think about it for a minute. How do you think a home without kids would look like?
Let's face it: kids are tiny tornados, leaving trails of chaos and even Cheerios in their wake. But fear not, fellow parents. For we've discovered the ultimate secret to a clean home: simply a home without kids! (Just kidding, we can't actually get rid of them... or can we?)
In all seriousness, maintaining a spotless home with little ones running around is like trying to hold water in your hands – it's a beautiful, yet impossible dream. But we can as well say that's what makes parenting exciting?
So, here are a few ways to achieve that elusive clean home:
I. Hide the evidence (and the kids) when guests come over.
II. Invest in a good vacuum (and a therapist).
III. Declare your home a "Toy-Free Zone" (just kidding, that's never happening).
When you discover that none of the above works, then you would have learned to embrace the mess and call it character building for you and the kids. It’s elusive, you can’t have a sparkly clean house when you have kids.
So accept it, sip a glass of while as you step on a few Lego bricks.
