Hello happy weekend clean planet members, guess everyone is having a good weekend?
Today, I spent some time making a small but meaningful difference in my community by cleaning up litter in my compound. It’s always surprising to see how much waste accumulates in small spaces, and even a short cleanup can have a huge impact! I focused on a small corner where plastic bottles, wrappers, and other trash had built up. With my broom and a trash bag, I got to work. It was rewarding to see the compound transform in just a short time. Not only does cleaning help the environment, but it also sets an example for others to take responsibility for their surroundings.
One thing that stood out to me today was the number of polythene bags and sachet wraps I picked up. It’s a clear reminder of the need to reduce these non-biodegradable materials and ensure proper disposal. If we all take small actions like this, we can create a cleaner and healthier planet for everyone.Am very happy to finish my cleaning today.
