today was an amazing day. Me, @louis88, @solarwarrior and our new friend @doitbyheart (follow him, he's probably accepting HBD soon in his Cafe here on Koh Lipe @starkerz )
His passion is to clean up the Islands for more than 800 Weeks already.
every Monday (once there's no storm) he is going out with locals and tourists like us to drive out by Longtailboats to the nearby islands.
Once a group has find the Café-Lipe, there's a welcome coffee and the Guide, Marius and the Boat driver welcomes everyone.
Going out and Clean the Islands
Once we aboard, the driver is running with the boat to the nearby islands, a nice 30min Longtailboat ride to those specific trashy islands.
Once we arrived at Ko Kolek we started unpacking the Nets for the Trash, everyone got a Net to collect the trash at this specific beach.
The Outcome were 700kg of Trash - Boat full
As we collected as many trash we can, the driver had to tell us to stop the collecting as the boat wouldn't fit anymore at this stage.
It was so proper packed that the way back took longer than the drive to the island.
What a mess such trash to see and I'm feeling glad I helped a little bit this time.
I will stay some more days here, probably next Monday too to collect another boar full of trash from those beautiful Islands around Koh Lipe.
