AssalamuAlaikum & Greetings Everyone!
It's me @amjadsharif
Today I have to spray the sweet potato crop with boran because its vines have grown too much and now I have to stop them from growing so that the food can reach the roots and the sweet potato starts growing.
There are other crops around the sweet potato crop, including corn and rice. Two days ago, a powerful storm came at night, due to which all the crops fell because they could not bear their weight, and the crops were damaged a lot. The corn fields, whose husks have stuck to the plants, have some plants that have broken and some that have been uprooted, so this is a big loss. The farmer cannot bear this loss because he has spent a lot of capital on it. This not only reduces the yield but also does not cover the cost of the crop.
Along with this, there is an acre of moong which is currently very close to Harvest, but due to the rain and storm, it has also fallen, and there is a risk of it getting damaged a lot. The farmer is in the same situation, but I think this field will not cause any harm, and some profit will be made from it, but if we look at the situation, it also leads to loss.
The sprayers have brought a spray machine and now we are starting it and checking whether the machine is working or not because its petrol had run out and we have taken out such petrol and put it in it.
After starting it has been checked so that it does not disturb us while spraying. Now we are pouring water into its tank, and along with it, we will put the bran spray in it. There are two people, one is working as a helper and the other is carrying the tank on his back and spraying. If he needs a helper anywhere, the other person supports him. At this time, spray is being applied on the sweet potato field to prevent its vines from growing, which will be of full benefit if there are sweet potatoes and they will start growing. Our procedure for spraying is now complete. I have paid the laborers their wages, and they have left.
I have dug the ground around the roots to see if the sweet potatoes have started to grow or not. Here it can be seen in this picture that the size of the sweet potatoes has started to grow to the normal level, and soon it will grow to a weight of between half a kg and one kg.
Stay with me for more updates so that we can continue to discuss and experiment with each and every step of the process.
