Sweet Potato Update; Started Producing Sweet Potatoes (Fruiting)

AssalamuAlaikum & Greetings Everyone!

It's me @amjadsharif

I have inspected the Sweet Potato field once again because our sweet potato is now two months old, and I want to see if it has started to produce sweet potatoes or if it still has a few days left.

I have chosen a large plant with strong and thick roots. I started digging the soil around the plant with the help of a hoe. When I got close to its roots, I removed the soil with my hands and a key.

I saw red roots inside the soil. This indicates that sweet potatoes have started to form. Some are thick and some are thin, which are slowly getting thicker.

I consulted a farmer who has been growing this crop continuously for the past 10 years. He told me to dig up the soil around his plant and see if all the sweet potatoes have started to form or if there is still some time left.

The sweet potato crop is currently in full swing. The leaves are green and the vines look healthy. They are very long, some vines are more than 10 feet long.

Sometimes they are attacked by caterpillars, but by taking timely precautions, I apply a spray to protect people's vines and their leaves from caterpillars.

Their vines have become so thick that I have just seen flowers forming on one vine, which is a sign that it is about to reach maturity.

I have also seen a corn plant here that has come unscathed. Maybe a bird has dropped its seed here and it has grown after getting moisture from the water.

I have also taken some selfies here. When the harvest is magnificent, it is a pleasure to take pictures for remembrance and remember them in the future. I am very happy today that I have seen that my hard work has started to pay off and soon why not take it every season will comes

But now I have to add more fertilizer to it, which includes potash, humic acid, etc. Apart from that, I will spray boron, which will help in increasing the size of the sweet potato by stopping the growth of the vines.

I hope you like it. I will write another blog after a week for more updates so that it can be fully understood.

What a coincidence, just today near my house they were selling potatoes (I hadn't seen them here for months) and now I see this excellent post that I totally enjoy.

I saw the photo , it is started to form just give it maybe a month to grow it bigger. I know it because we have sweet potato plant on our farm. Sweet potato in different colors like violet, yellow, orange , white , but I love the violet of all the colors it is very very sweet.

Thanks for your support, team @appreciator
