Uprooting Extra Vines of Sweet Potatoes with the Help of a Stick; Busiest Day Working in Fields

AssalamuAlaikum & Greetings Everyone!

It's me @amjadsharif

Friends of Agricultural Mindset, I am once again here with my new blog. Today is our busiest day. The reason is that today we have to stop the sweet potato vines from forming new roots, so we are uprooting these vines with the help of a stick.

My friend, whose name is Tufail, after cultivating the sweet potato crop, when it was his turn to uproot and uproot the vines for the first time, he decided to help me. His village is about three kilometers from here. I reach his house and take him to the field on my bike and we work in the field together. We also talk.

Tufail reaches the field early in the morning, and when I want to drop my children off at school, I see that Tufail has reached there and is removing the vines from the ditch with the help of a stick. After dropping the children, I take some curd from there. Breakfast is ready as usual. It is done because my friend has not had breakfast yet, I have taken breakfast for him, and with the help of curd, we have made lassi. This lassi is very delicious but the breakfast picture was too much to take, so I am just telling you here.

We are tired, so we have sat here to relax a bit and started chatting. He has a lot of knowledge about vegetable cultivation, which tells me which crops we should cultivate after the sweet potatoes. This entire procedure is being discussed with me.

After doing more work in the field, we have decided that we will complete the rest of the work tomorrow because tomorrow the field has to be fertilized and watered. Therefore, while removing the vines from the ditch, we will apply water and also spray fertilizer and chlorpyriphos in it to protect it from root borers.

We inspected some places from where we wanted to see the growth of the sweet ones, and we saw that the sweet ones had started growing. I may have shared this with you before, and now I am sharing these pictures with you.

I hope you like today's blog. Do contact me in the comment section so that the discussion continues. See you in the next blog.

That sweet potato field is in great health. I just ate sweet potatoes yesterday, haha.
I hope you can water the field well today and have a wonderful day.
Hugs!
