You're absolutely right, night rain calls them out. I remember those times we often go on a hunt for them immediately after rainfall. Though we don't often get as many to keep for rearing, we just consume them. They are so nutritious.

Where I came from, I always go fetch the snails at exactly 11:00pm at night, then come back around 1:00am at night too with multiple harvest. Lol π€£ππ€£. There are a lot of risk to be taken.
