🌱 Garden Update: Full Bloom & First Bites 🍉

Hello everyone!

Here’s a little update I promised from my garden and it’s a happy one😄! 🌿🌸

We’ve officially planted everything (long time ago) and now it’s in full bloom. The garden is absolutely alive and thriving (well, mostly)! Here’s what’s growing so far:

🧅 Onions

🍅 Tomatoes

🫑 Paprikas

🌶️ Chillis – (sweet and spicy)

🫛 Peas

🫘Beans - (high and low)

🥬 Salad (already over)

🥔 Potatoes

🥒 Zucchini & Cucumbers

🎃 Pumpkin (little flowers)

🥕 Carrots

🌿 Parsley

And one fat cat-melon :)🐱🍉

  • please don’t mind the garden filled with grass and such, we’ve cleaned it up :). The picture was taken beforehand😁.

Some veggies are still taking their time to sprout, but everything is headed in the right direction and I’m so happy about it :). Nature is doing its thing and it’s so beautiful to watch!!

I’ve already had the chance to snack on some fresh tomatoes, onions, and paprikas right there in the garden, and honestly… there’s no better feeling than that. Everyone with a garden will agree :). The taste, the scent, the happiness of knowing it came from your hard work it’s pure joy. 🍅☀️

My Star: Watermelons! 🍉❤️

I’m especially excited about the watermelons this year. They’re growing so nicely, and I’m dreaming of them turning out big, juicy, and sweet! Fingers crossed! I go and check on them almost daily like a proud plant parent🤣.

The Only Downside: No Rain 💧

The weather has been a bit of a nightmare. We haven’t had enough rain to properly soak the soil, and unfortunately, we don’t have an irrigation system in place. But we found a little DIY trick burying 5 liter water bottles in the soil to help slowly release moisture. You do what you gotta do, right? 😄💡

Watching all of this grow from scratch is so satisfying. It reminds me to slow down, stay grounded, and celebrate the little things, like the first tomato or a single pea pod. Nature has its own timeline, and I’m loving it.

Thanks for reading, and I’ll keep you posted on whether my watermelon dreams come true soon! 🍉🌱✨🤣

With love and excitement from the garden,
💚
