So finally after so, so many years of looking and dreaming to buy our own land, and a year of checking all the properties, we purchased our 1st farmland in April.

When we bought this property, it was the end of summer time, so the land was pretty dry, since there was no rain for few months with over 32 degrees.

The funny thing is that when this property became available, we contacted the owner right away to go and see it, but we were not very excited to go and see this land, just because it was an hour away from where we live and it's in the mountains area, where you can't find a lot of flat land because it's all mountains. The only reason we went to see it is because of the price.

To our surprise, we loved the property as soon as we got there and one of the biggest reasons was the paved road, all the way to our property, which none of the properties we saw, and we saw so, so many of them, had a decent road, especially a paved road.

All the properties that we saw, would need a 4x4 to get to them, and some of them even with 4x4 was almost impossible to get to. We broke our bumper in our truck on one of them.

The second reason we loved the property, is the fact that it doesn't flood in winter time, unlike the other properties we saw.

This property has just the perfect soil and the views are breathtaking, plus it's located in a little country town, so you are not all alone in the middle of nowhere.

Walking alongside our property in our new neighborhood.

The size of his property is 12, almost 13 manzanas, which is around 30 acres. Most of the land is flat, with some hills and some pretty steep hills, where it's pretty tricky to walk on, but the view is amazing, so it makes it up for it.

We are planning to plant all kinds of fruit trees here and maybe have a lime tree farm on the hilly side of the property and have cattle on the flat area, and some chickens, but all that costs a lot of money, so we have to think hard of what we are going to start with first. The thing is, we have to start somewhere and we are excited about it.

Thank you for stopping by, and for your support. It's greatly appreciated.

I am a great supporter of @familyprotection which is working very hard to help the families stay together and this project is the most
amazing project that I would suggest for everyone in this hive community to check it out and support it and by doing it we are helping people in need who are trying to keep their kids safe from being taken away (kidnapped) by the Social Services. Here is the link Click here

That sounds like an amazing piece of land for a good price.
I'm glad that everything is working out for you & your family.

Thank you dear friend. So far, so good. Let's just hope we can do some good things with this land, since we never owned a farm before, but you have to start somewhere.

Thank you @mattsanothyit. It sure is a dream come true and we are very excited. We are planing to grow all kinds of fruit trees, like anona, more mangos and avocados, coconut, papayas, plantains, bananas, pomegranates, and some dragon fruit. But we are also thinking of growing around 200 trees of lime.
