Hello dear Hive community, this time I want to share something different and it is a job that everyone can do, something simple that does not require much space as many believe, it is about harvesting our own fruits at home, this time I will show you my tomato plants.
Many of us use this fruit almost daily to give a different taste to our sauces and stews. But unfortunately we discard the seeds without realizing that in our home we have the possibility of sowing a plant for our consumption. We do not need very beautiful or large pots, we can use even the packaging of a flour or rice or a plastic container. Hello dear Hive community, this time I want to share something different and this is a job that everyone can do, something simple that does not require much space as many believe, it is to harvest our own fruits at home, this time I will show you my tomato plants.
As you can see I use both bags and plastic containers and even pots that are no longer in use in the kitchen. Beforehand I look for black soil so that it can nourish the seeds and in this way have a good development, I try as much as possible not to place them directly in the sun so that the soil remains humid and germinates soon.
When our seedling begins to grow it will be time to transplant it, something that will help us to know when it is the ideal moment is to wait until it has at least six leaves, so it can resist the changes to which the plant is exposed. My dear friends, if the container is large with enough soil it is not necessary to transplant it.
As you can see, with a lot of love in what we do we will get what we set out to do. There you see some of my tomato plants in a corner of my house. Let's not forget to water it twice a day, early in the morning and at sunset.
I show you the fruit of my little work, it already has flowers and some small tomatoes, soon I will be able to season my stews and sauces with a 100℅ natural product without insecticide, harvested at home and above all with lots of love.
