HOW DO SNAIL EAT GREEN VEGETABLES?
- This is why agriculture is always practical. Recently, I posted on snails which involves breaking it down that the snails also consume green vegetables. I know that it will be running through so many people's mind like how? Yes just like every other animal feed on difference kinds of food. The snails also make it a very big deal to feed on green vegetables with ease. Why I said with ease is because, some actually climb green vegetable plant and eat their leaves confidently without any stress.
This is a typical example of what I was talking about. This green vegetable is very succulent soft such that even when you want to fetch it, it very much easy so as well to be able to be consumed by the animals it is also easy for them. Most especially for smaller ones, animals such as snails. Some will even climb them because they are small and they wait is not too much at all. When you move around throughout the night you will absolutely capture a lot of pictures of snails climbing up both on unwanted Plants and the cultivated crops consuming them confidently. I am talking from experience. If I am also privileged I can absolutely give us more pictures even at night. That is why I said the practical aspect of Agriculture it is a big deal. All this may be written in books but not in practical aspect. But in agricultural mindset community we are always making it very possible practically with a lot of pictures to show for it.
Feeding of snails is also very much easier when you are a vegetable farmer. When you plant different types of during vegetable on the farm it will be easier for you to navigate through and use some of them to feed your animals confidently. But if otherwise you can also make it up to them by buying it in the market or sauce for it. Practically speaking you may not feed your snails everyday but you should alway observe their environment and where you keep them. It must be clean.
- Snooze extremely fragile once they are attack by any predators they are dead instantly. Or we didn't few hours they will be dead. Sometimes ago one of my farmer friend keeps snails indoor and forgot to clean the environment. Within few days here comes so many soldier ants from outside Bush. They are much to the extent that for so many hours the soldier ants continueed run up and down the whole environment, the compound I mean. This is to show that those soldier ants really came prepared. The soldier ant ate up the snails inside their shell. Both small and bigger ones.
When I got to the farm I saw that there are some smaller snails climbing up some particular green vegetables plants so I decided to capture them and also use it to explain what I was saying earlier on. There is always reasons for it. It may be due to the recent environment or whether condition. I mean it is cold, so animals such as snails move from one place to another feeding on Fresh leaves. After the smell a very good aroma from it the climb it and feed on it.
If you have snails to keep. It is advisable to use so many feeding means because when you find yourself in an environment where you cannot fetch dream vegetables you can as well go for the alternative. such as animal or poultry feeds. There are some of the poultry feet design already for animals such as snails. With different food ratio and ingredients. So it is left to you as individual farmer to know which of the portion or feed type you want to buy.
I always use any good poultry grower feed. Why I said this is because sometimes if you are based on a particular brand of feeds within a short range you may not see them again. So it is better to always go for any good brand with I quality feed ingredients for your animals. Even in poultry section and more.

Absolutely. The way everything is set makes the best production in snails. Not just keeping them alone but seeing the huge snail ranges.
This took me back to when,we use to go to the farm and see snails hiding under the plantain leaves.
I actually did small training in snailry, and I was told spoilt pawpaw fruit can also be given to them as feed.
