Hello Hivers 💕💘,

In agricultural mindset we have statics that we use in growing up some of our crops which will always get more attention and at the end we bring more and fought good production. I learned this method while I was in the northern part of Nigeria when I was doing my project on animals and crops. I was also privileged to be among the northerners where they engage themselves in proper farming. All types of crops are within their capacity and their range such as, Yam, Millet, Pepper, Tomatoes, Sugarcane, cassava , rice among others..

I learned a lot about how to dress your pepper. Yes did you just heard me well. How to dress your pepper. Whenever I met them on the farm I will patiently study what they do and also ask a lot of questions. Why I love them up then is that they are very friendly and also eager to teach people who are ready to learn farming methods and techniques. When they transplant their own chill or bell pepper, believe it for couple of weeks and they will always observe it when it's time for flowering stages, they will come back to the farm proper to harvest some pepper leaves. These harvesting alone we will take more than 2 to 3 days because they always engage themselves in acres of agricultural farmland. And they do their work manually. The cutting of the bushes, gathering of the already dried leaves and stems of woods, ploughing of the farmland using manual labor which is the use of Agricultural hoes. So what I'm saying in essence is that when you are ready to learn it is always the best in agriculture, the learning process is gradual. I took so many pictures of how the process went and this is for those who are very eager to learn how to harvest pepper leaves. And this method always ensure a very huge massive flowering stages as well as a very productive season which will take more than a year of being productive.

  • These are the already transplanted and matured chill and Bell pepper. This is also to the reminders that I already have some pepper seedlings coming up gradually and when it's reaches the maturity stage I'm going to transplant it and also do this same method for them. The first thing you need to do is to observe the whole pepper plants the way they are standing up. This also will review how you are going to reduce the pepper leaves so that it will start from the top and it will also start bringing out more branches from the top not downward.

Weeding of the pepper stand was done using hand picking method. It is more easier for me because the use of mobile seedbed planting method was used.

This type of method can also be used for crops like tomatoes. It will come back fully with a lot of flowers on the main plant. After some weeks you see it growing up fruits in multiple Folds. I have seen so many working wonders with this method before. I have also used it and its worked.

This was when the weeds was been collected from one mobile seedbed and the other. It is very necessary before you act on them. It will also reveal the true colour picture of the pepper one after the other.

IMG_20240524_182211_181.jpg

Not everybody can go through this method but it is highly profitable for your chill pepper and Bell pepper.

No matter how close the weed is today pepper plant or tomato plant you need to hand-pick it so that it will be clean for you to see exact position you will remove the leaves.

IMG_20240524_182204_226.jpg

The weeding must be done before this method can be used accurately.

The next thing you need to do is also to really identify which part of the chill or bell pepper you are going to remove from the main plant. It is highly necessary for you to know how it is been down and that is why I specifically show more clear pictures on this. When you notice that the type of chill pepper or Ben pepper or tomato plant grow in twos or in pair. Unit to reduce the leaves right from the down part of the main plant as shown in the pictures below.

You can see the direction that I pointed into. You need to observe it very well. So that you will not misuse the method. The method must be accurate.

You simply remove the leaves from the bottom has shown in the pictures slightly without shifting its base.

When you count three to four leaves from the stem downward. You remove them all.

IMG_20240524_182501_597.jpg

IMG_20240524_182700_572.jpg

You must always have a lot of patience when going through this process so that you will not tamper with the main plans. If by enemies you shift the base of the chill pepper or tomato or any other crop it will affect the growth and development.

IMG_20240524_182634_749.jpg

You cut the leaves and trash them out or you can also use it as mulching. This mulching simply means that, you use the removed leaves dried or wet to support your planted crops.

This was when the whole leaves trimming was done. You can see that from the stem you have enough space to even look to the extreme. This will also give one for a very good more air to pass through them.
