As so many Farm progresses we have the results at hand gradually this make it more profitable for agriculture because you have all what it takes practically and physically. Practically means that you need to go to the field to carry out the task yourself or true labor. Then physically as well in one way or the other You must be present so that even when things are going sideways you will always be there to correct it.

That is why agriculture is always a very good thing or profession so practice anywhere in the world. In as much as you have a very good practical soil to plant and to carry out a task. Either you use the mobile seat bed techniques or you use the agricultural farm land technique. Either ways is good. And your crop will be growing daily. If you plant crop like millet or in a corn this is how you will notice that it's making progress. Agricultural progress with always be seen everyday. That is why no matter how you cannot by manipulate any kind of step in agriculture. It has to be practical and physical. Such that so many people will see it and believe what you are doing one step at a time.

  • This is the true definition of practical application in agriculture. The guinea corn is absolutely growing over time and it also indicates that there is always reason for a farmer to be happy when he sees what he had already planted growing this way. I took a lot of pictures to show us some great updates about the guinea corn Farm.

To be able to identify Guinea corn Farm or Millet. This is what you need to know. The grow up like sugarcane. But sometimes more taller in nature practically. so when you see Guinea corn or millet from a verified distance you can conclude that this is a millet Farm. It will be tiny from the stem till its reaches a very tall height.

What you also need to no about the guinea corn and millet is that aside that they are tall and tiny the leaves are also wide to some extent. Its also Sharp. When you walk in between the millet or Guinea farm, it is very sharp such that it can cut off your body part.

If you are also privilege you can as well plant the guinea corn Millet on hips and ridges. Nowadays it is very easy when you plant on hips and ridges. But some farmers do not like this because it takes time and it also support a lot of hard work unlike planting on just normal agricultural soil.

As you can see it there are some portion of the millet Farm that are planted directly in the soil. Inside the agricultural Farmland. While some are also planted on hips. The two we survive but one of them will utilize its nutrients more efficiently.

your take on planting guinea corn on ri;dges versus direct soil really stood out. the extra labour is alot, but if ridges boost nutrient effciency and reduce waterlogging, that means steadier yields over time. as an accountant, i just see lower risk and happier cash flow, my spreadsheet almost smiles :) love how you keep it practical and present in the field.

glad it helped, your practical approach really shows :)
Ridge rows may take more labor now but they smooth cash flow and cut risks in heavy rains, which is gold for any FArm budget.
Keep those gloves handy.. those leaves can be mean :)
