Hello Hivers 💕💘,

It is a lovely day here in the farm and it is also a privilege to visit the farm with the children as well which also serve as a motivation everyday because of the happiness I say in them and the way they react even when we are inside the Farm. Being a farmer or any type of professional work is what is called privilege and this privilege should be passed on to our folks, family and friends, colleagues and whosoever is willingly to learn just like any other handwork. Take for instance if you are a hair stylist you can carry along your children and within the matter of time, with few years you see them showing what they have learned and showing them practically.

Most especially farming is one of the career that you see and practice instantly. When you learned something one thing or the other in agriculture you must take to practice that was what I learnt from my late dad. Getting to work at the accurate time. And this is called accurate timing. When you plant your crop with the accurate time in the harvesting we also be accurate even though you may have the kind of delay in weather condition or rainfall but yet you will be close to accuracy. While we were still celebrating the birthday of @little-vickie, we visited the pepper 🌶️🍒🌶️ section as well, which we already have some fully matured and ripe pepper for harvest so they did the harvesting effectively. I took the pictures of how it went.

  • When we got today pepper section it was a all bunch of unriped pepper but when will move closely to check the down portion of the plant we saw free ones that are gotten riped. So the children did the harvesting.

Now that we are approaching the holiday period, the kids will be more familiar with the farm and some techniques of planting and harvesting. So I decided to leave them to observe how it will be done.

The right timing was calculated because initially I wanted to visit the farm without the children but on the other hand I give a second thought and now it was full of educative moment. No matter what they condition where you are little children it is always another world entirely I must confess.

As any other planted crops that it still standing on its own with fruits or produce on it. You need to be careful how you harvest the produce or else you will destroy the whole plant without any repair. So I decided to monitor them on how to approach any plant either tomatoes or pepper of any kind before you harvest it. Every plant has its own approach ways.

This is the method of approach to harvest chill pepper and Bell. Have made some mistakes back then we are bad I mistakenly uprooted a well matured and productive chill pepper plant and that was all. I tried my best to replant it and also give 100% attention but at the long runs its went dried up. So this method I also explained to the kids how to harvest gently without any form of disturbance.

I was also there to monitor where to touch before the riped chill pepper was harvested so that even when I'm not around I can be boostful that the harvesting of some Farm produce can be done by the kids. It is very informative to learn and also to teach her young ones how to grow crops as early as possible.
