Hello friends I hope everyone is well. Faridbhai woke me up in the morning and called me and told me to go to the village in the winter morning. We were in the morning so my brother and I took a rickshaw to the village in the morning. We went there to a village called Kahalu which is located about 10 kilometers away from Bogra city.

When I reached the village we saw a vegetable garden. The tree that you can see here is called gourd in our Bangladesh. Gourd is a winter vegetable. We stopped the rickshaw and visited the vegetable garden. Here I saw several laurel trees, each of which is small and large, and the pampkin flowers are in full bloom.

Our Bangladeshi pumpkins are sold at around 30 to 50 rupees per kg. This pumpkin is very good to eat when cooked with beef which tastes great. Pumpkin can be cooked with different meats besides beef and it is very good to eat. I ate pumpkin curry with beef at my house two days ago. My mother cooked a very nice curry.

The picture here shows the paddy lands around you. Besides the profit, the people here are accustomed to cultivating paddy. Paddy is cultivated in different parts of Bangladesh. Besides cultivating paddy, they also cultivate winter vegetables. I stood there for a long time and took several pictures. I felt very good to travel in a rural environment.

In the picture you can see a small gourd and a big gourd. This is what it looks like when the gourd is small and in about a month this gourd turns into a very large gourd which is suitable for sale and eating.

To cultivate gourds, one has to make a perfect place to keep profit trees with bamboo on top. Otherwise, if these trees are in contact with the soil, they will not grow vegetables and the trees will be damaged. About 200 profits can be collected from a profit tree in six months and by selling them, the farmers of our country earn a lot of money with which they are able to support their families.

Here you can see the raw leaves of pampkin in the picture. These leaves can be cooked and eaten with curry. pampkin leaves are sold and the price of these leaves in the market is a lot. The tree that you can see here is both edible.

Now we will talk about the flowers of the gourd tree. When the flowers come to the tree, we have to understand that now the vegetables will come because the gourd flowers come before the gourd tree comes and if these flowers grow with care, then a lot of gourds can be collected from there.
