I do not have medical insurance because there are no alternatives in that system. It's their way or the highway. If I feel the need for an osteopath or a chiropractor I have to pay out of my own pocket. Why should I pay for something I will never use?

very interesting. I often thought about dropping out of the health-insurance-system but in Germany it's protected by law and is mandatory. You can only drop out if
I play with that thought once in a while, what I will let happen when I would get a heart attack or a stroke or anything of that kind. Did you make up your mind already? I am not certain but I think I'd rather die than to let me being taken to a hospital. ... Cannot say that for sure though...
I think life is risky and one can accept this as a matter of fact.
yeh life is risky but one things for sure, we're all gonna die and I would rather die naturally than be killed by iatrogenesis. For heart attack I hear the best remedy is a tsp of cayenne pepper in water. Apparently it's been tested and works. How can they make health insurance mandatory?
They did. Early on after WW II.
It's called a great achievement that Germany has "the best social security system".
Do you have any sources for the cayenne pepper?
I don't have any specific sources no, I did read they have done studies or a study on it and many doctors are aware of it but would have to go do a search which I'm not inclined to do right now as busy with other stuff. If I come across it again I'll let you know.
in UK it is kind of mandatory to pay national insurance but I stopped paying it years ago and no comeback so not sure how 'mandatory' that makes it.
