Good day POB hivers!
We have a somewhat easy theme for this week which is about traffic. I say easy because almost anywhere and everywhere you go in almost all the major cities of our country you will experience it. Probably not as heavy as the big and populated cities but still you can experience the congestion every now and then. You can also experience traffic here in my city but the problem is there is no high ground to position myself just so I can easily snap some photos. Well, there are of course high buildings but I cannot just easily go there just to take photos of the traffic specially at the roundabout, in the heart of the city.
So Yesterday I asked my son to take some photos of the traffic in Baguio City. Why in Baguio? Well if you visit Baguio you will know that traffic is real there. Haha
So many vehicles up the highlands. Imagine Baguio City consists of 129 barangay's and each Barangay's consists of puroks and some sitios.

Barangay in the Philippines- a small territorial and administrative district forming the most local level of government.

You might be wondering what is a sitio and what is a purok? So I Googled them both just so it will be explained thoroughly.☺️🤭

The term purok is often applied to a neighborhood (zone) within an urbanized barangay, or a portion (district) of a less densely populated, but still relatively geographically compact, barangay. This contrasts with the sitio, which is usually a cluster of households (hamlet) in a more dispersed, rural barangay. (Source: google)

Thanks Uncle Google, you are really very dependable and trustworthy... Hahaha

So back to our photos. The photo above was taken just near my son's University. He went out from his class just so he can take photos of the traffic which was around past 5pm where it's really on its heaviest. They call it the rush hour.

Can you see the background, The mountains behind? It's filled with houses! So you can visualize how traffic is part of the everyday living there. Everytime we go and visit our son in Baguio city we just park our vehicle in the car park area of SM super mall for the whole duration of our stay because it will be much easier to roam around the city on foot. The heart of the city is just actually one big loop. From my son's apartment to his school to the market going to the famous Burnham park then to Session road it's really a big loop. Perfect exercise just be sure to wear your walking shoes though.

This is my entry for his week's challenge hosted by our admin @friendlymoose for the #pobphotocontest with the theme #traffic.
Be sure to write down this very important tag for I learned a valuable lesson last week. My entry was not included in the Flower challenge because I was not able to write down the tags correctly. Huhuhu.... My beautiful Christmas cactus were not included.... Sad, well that's life. We have to follow certain rules so we will be included.

Tah tah for now. See you on the next.
Have a great day everyone, or a great weekend ahead!TGIF!
