I always use to think somehow that, which one is really better, hot weather or cold weather? Both of them get their own wahala, and both also get their own sweet side.
For me, hot weather can be very annoying. The sun will shine so much, sweat will just be pouring from your body, even small movement you are already tired. In Nigeria where I live, when it is dry season, the sun no dey play at all. Sometimes I just feel like removing my skin because of heat. Sleeping at night becomes hard, you will be turning left and right with fan blowing and still sweat.
But at the same time, hot weather get advantage. You can wash clothes and it will dry quick. You can go out without fear of rain or cold. People sell more drinks and cold water because everybody want to cool their throat. And farming also do well with sunlight.
Now cold weather, I like it because it makes body calm. When rain fall and breeze is everywhere, I feel like sleeping the whole day. Bathing is sweet because the water is fresh, and you can cover yourself with wrapper and just relax. No sweat disturbing you.
But the bad side of cold is also there. If you don’t have sweater or blanket, you will just be shaking. Some people even get sick during cold season because of catarrh and cough. Movement is also hard when rain fall too much, roads can spoil, and business will slow down.
So between the two, I cannot say one is completely better. It depends on mood and situation. If I want to work hard and move around, I prefer dry hot weather. But if I want to rest and relax, cold weather is the best. At the end, both are part of life, we just learn how to manage them.
