We often talk and hear about a paradise where we are supposed to reach after our death. That paradise is described as a place where would not be any worry about food or security. Everything will reach us the very moment we desire for it. The attainment of paradise hereafter depends on our deeds in this world. We need to work for it. There is another paradise where we live before opening our eyes into this world. There, food reaches us without any effort. Watery cushions surround us all around to protect us from any outside danger. There are no worries there but the pleasure of everything we are served with. That place is the womb of our mothers.

It is the paradise for which no good deeds are required but it is given to us as a blessing of God.
I don't think there is any place in this world that is safer than a mother's womb. Our tiny bodies, incapable of performing anything, attain everything of their need from the mother's body. We don't have to take food or remove waste; everything happens on its own. There is nourishment, growth and development without any personal efforts.
When we come out of the womb, the mother becomes an angel who is tirelessly at the service of making this world a paradise for us. She provides us the food from her body. She doesn't care for her own hunger but the baby. She spends sleepless nights to comfort her baby. She sacrifices her desires to protect and nourish her baby at its best.
The milk from the mother's breast is not only food but medicine and pacifier too. Whenever a baby is hurt or feels in danger, breastfeeding is the only remedy that mollifies him within seconds. The warmth in the mother's lap gives him an immense sense of security and peace.

As we grow older, the sacrifices of our mother take another shape. I remember my mother didn't go to her mother's for years (as she was in another city far from ours) because of our education. She preferred us over other activities. It is because of her efforts, we grew into capable adults.
The mother doesn't think of her miseries and pains but of her children. No matter how grown-up we are, the mother always feels our pain the same way she feels when we were infants developing in her arms. She is always ready to do whatever she can to help us in need. In our childhood, her arms are to protect and nourish us. In our adulthood, her hands (raised for prayers) become our security and prosperity.

It is because of a mother's tireless efforts and uncountable pains that holy prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) said
Paradise lies under the feet of your mother source
It means the mother is the being who provides us the paradise before opening our eyes into this world and is the source of attaining paradise hereafter.

This is my entry for the word of the week, paradise
When a mother speaks. Lol! Indeed the worm shields us from frivolities in the world and the mother's arm keeps us from harm in the world. Really mothers provides paradise for their kids.
