Just as the weekned is associated with fun and relaxation, Monday is a day that most people like me consider as night mare.
At the end of every Sunday the panic start creeping into my spines and preparations are thus put in order to be ready to face the upcoming day.
That is why you see people retiring to bed on time every sunday night in order to please this day called Monday. It doesn't matter who you are, you must be up and doing on this day.
Everything must be perfect on a Monday morning.
You must show up early
Your irresponsibility starts with showing up late for work or classes on a Monday morning. Studies shows that Monday is the only day that almost 50 percent of employees comes late to work from the unwillingness to go back to work to the huge traffic caused by Monday rush.
In my city if you want to beat the Monday traffic then you must leave your house around 4:00 in the morning to be marked safe from Lagos traffic.
If Monday morning is a person it should be Margaret Thatcher.
Monday morning sometimes is the Antagonist in our life. I moan for about fifteen minutes before getting out of bed on a Monday morning that shows how much I hate Mondays.
Bob Geldof's song " I dont like Mondays was written after he read of a US woman going on shooting spree because she didn't like Mondays.
You must at one time hated Mondays or know someone who loathes Mondays right ?
Monday can also play the protagonist in your life if you so desire it. Monday is a new day in a new week and in that lies new opportunity for something special to happen. It pushes you not only out of bed but also out of your comfort zone and gives you the chance to fight for the life that you deserve.
It serves as a clarion call that the fun is over and it's time to get serious and face life.
Are you still crying over that heart break? Snap out of it , it's Monday morning.
You are still having one hell of a hangover? Go clean up, it's Monday morning.
Still worried about the small output in your business last week? Well show up again with a smile, it's Monday morning.
MONDAY SYMBOLISM
Monday to me symbolises a fresh start to life. It brings about a positive wave of energy and motivation.
As the name implies Monday is the day dedicated to the moon. A day of stepping into our purpose and true potential.
It is a perfect day to speak life into the rest of the days and command it to play out as you want because the Moon wants us to get clear about our emotions and what we want to achieve in the coming days.

Monday is also a symbolic day that shows one's vocation. What you do for a living and how it has shaped and enhance your life.
Do you enjoy what you do or are you stuck in a job that you don't like because you needed the paycheck? A good number of us fall into this category and that is why Mondays is considered as a dreadful day.
If you enjoy what you do, Monday should be like any other days and instead of dreading this day ,you will instead look forward with excitement to get back to work.
Oftentimes what glued us to that job we derives no joy from is Fear.
Fear of the unknown
Fear of what awaits us at the other side.
I want to remind you today that it's ok to be afraid afterall that's what shows that we are humans but is also even more ok if we dare our fears.
Families and friends would at some point discourage you and the bills to be paid will demoralize you too but trust me it will get better someday.
Steve Harvey quit his job to do what makes him happy which is making people laugh and he got it right.
Terry Perry did the same and it paid off too. Today he the owner of the largest film production studio in the United state.
Harrison Ford was a carpenter until he went into what he love doing the most which is acting and producing. He became highly successful in it.
There is a Great price to pay
We love hearing about the stories of these people and how they conquered their fear and turned their dreams into their realities but let us not miss out on what it cost them to get it right.
Behind every sacrifices is a huge price to pay.
One of them is FAILURE
Failure is considered as an essential prerequisite for success. All of the successful people in the world were great failures before they eventually got it right.
you have to have the darkness for the dawn to come
Are you currently experiencing failure in your business, work and dream pursuit ? its part of the process so do not throw in the towel.
It doesn't matter if million people tell you what you cant do, or if ten million people tell you No. If you get one yes from God that's all you need.

Fear crumbles a lot of things and fear of Monday is a very general phenomenon in this world.
I felt it when I served in a bank as a Corp member, but when I became free from the banking sector and the corporate world as a whole, the Freedom I have at the moment to work when I want makes it easier for me to enjoy every moment and every day.
I no longer dread Mondays.
I wait to welcome it with open hands.
