RE: Is Hive Ready for Child's Play?

in Proof of Brain3 years ago

My Daughter is here @kikicat.

I brought her on board because I saw her interest. While I meandered around Hive she would be beside me saying “vote”, “click”, “wait! Stop”.

And while I do support many things that I’m not necessarily personally interested in (I don’t have to like it to see the quality and creator behind content), I didn’t always want to vote for something that my Daughter did.

It was then that I knew KiKiCat needed her own account.

I am finding it really interesting to see the difference of the people who vote for her content compared to mine. Of course, that isn’t shocking since my Daughter’s content is similar, yet different than what I share.

I also prefer my kid to be here then on TikTok, YouTube, or worse, Instagram.

Safety is a necessity no matter the hangout choice, but I do feel that compared to the many options Hive is a safer choice.

Yay! Kids! lol
That's amazing to hear, @anaclark... I will tell Syd to follow her for sure. I'm hoping we can get some Hive time tonight or tomorrow after school.

I'm just so glad that another parent agrees with me! It seems like commonsense, but I run into so many different types of parenting structures-- especially now-- that I never know what to expect. Thanks so much for leaving a comment and giving me some peace of mind. Hopefully our kids hit it off. :)
