I did the calculations on the stainless steel one ones , pesky little stars , the form makes them have 35% waste material after cutting . I came with a profitable selling price of about 130 Euro's for a stainless steel one . Where a plane iron one would cost about 50 euro's . And that without packaging in some shiny box or transport cost's .

Somewhere way back on steemit there is a picture of a rvs one , on a for it designed stand from the same material . The one in the post is from the son of a good friend of mine , i gave it about 5 years ago , i will give it back when i copied the form of one star to a file on my laptop .

Would love to sell some , but i ain't no commercial talented trader , could do all deals on production . Like make the deals at a laser cutting company to get the parts shove some boxes but sales is not my thing . It's a classic problem where the inventor needs a partner in sales and so product protection .

So i am all open to suggestions , even thinking banana style where i print my permission to create one on a NFT picture ,.. costing some Hive or POB to obtain , like lets say somewhere between the 10 and 10.000 coins . Or what about exclusive for #Proofofbrain only , like some promo ornament , every star has room to have some logo engraved on it ,.. won't even cost match more for it's all one go for a laser .

Anyways it looks better as the hive logo cubes and would not mind seeing it back as a logo for #POB . After all it's a free to use form and anyone having a drawing program can make one , and order the parts at a laser cutting company .

I am willing to do the works and find out what it would exactly cost to make handle and transport one so to get today's prizes . So yes ,i could sell them up to a certain point , like in small quantities if someone really likes one .
But it won't be cheap . ;-)

Hmmm, maybe a 3d printed plastic one?

Maybe @dylanhobalart could suggest something?
Could you crank these out cheaper than the shipping from europe?

It has to be stiff , straight and unable to bend , a very good quality 3d printer could work i guess . I like the steel ones , makes the challenge feel more risky . The ultimate one would be a glass one to me . ;-)
I don't know @dylanhobalart , but he's welcome to take a look .
Didn't understand that last question ,.. not experienced in shipping goods i am , sorry .

Sorry, the question was for Dylan, he does metal work up in Canada.
I have one of his pieces he made for me before the fork from steem.

Glass, huh?
I guess a mold could be poured?
A ceramic one certainly wouldn't be too hard to make.

I'd think wood would be challenging to complete, too.

If we were a real social media we would have many artisans vying for the business, but our halls are pretty empty.
Maybe somebody will show up that can do these things for folks not in a position to do it for themselves.

Ill have a look myself to , see if i can invest in one , order it , get it and then sell that single one somehow ,.. take it from there and see what happens . Where i would have to sell at least 4 or 5 to get my investment back . Low risk slow start .

Wood for splinters and glass for cuts , comes with a medical emergency set and all .
Or should i think big and get screwed by Lego . ;-)

Sure wouldn't want to step on that thing in the middle of the night.

LOL , the first i made , i welded all points and spots i could hit , did our best to destruct it . Just before i was gonna use the hydro press on it a friend asked to have it . He made all points shiny sharp , attached a chain and stick to it and had some fun . He still has it , hanging an his man-cave wall , uses it to crack walnuts sometimes . ;-)

@antisocialist suggested I try to 3D print this. I'd like to 3D model this and print it with PLA plastic. If I do I'd like to post the .stl file on Thingiverse under a Creative Commons BY-SA license. In the notes I can attribute you and link to your blog posts. Is that fine with you?

Thickness is exact 3mm , changing that would need change to the 3mm gab in the star to . Have some info on the measurements from me , and have fun .

Hey @small1axe, here is a little bit of BEER from @holovision for you. Enjoy it!

Did you know that you can use BEER at dCity game to **buy dCity NFT cards** to rule the world.

Thank you so much.

!BEER

get creative , where i guess it ain't that hard to get the design made in Solidworks or cad . I lost the PC with all my files and working out how to draw a new digital file that for instance a laser-cutter could use . There is a good wood laser cutting company not far from me , when i have some cash and the file i will order a 3mm multiplex one there .
Everyone is free to make there own , me claiming anything is a bit of a joke and like wanna get rich from ductape and banana's . But very mach appreciated when i get linked to come and see what others made of it ,.. and , if they can solve it .
Where if someone went full commercial production on the puzzle aspect i would not mind to get some minor profit from it . Where i don't no if the ghost of Escher can claim some profit to . ;-)
Have some fun i say , be creative , share it engage it .

The CC BY-SA license allows commercial use so I wouldn't be able to guarantee if someone sold it you would get anything. The way I view it is the BY-SA license allows anyone to sell it commercially so the amount of competition in the marketplace is maximized driving the price it could be sold competitively as low as possible. Maybe if your puzzle becomes a fad you could get some fame status as the creator and maybe some interview and book deals.

If the ghost of Escher shows up threatening legal action I think you should talk to a lawyer about a countersueance.👻

Ill choose fame over sitting in a bunker on a bunch of coin anytime .
Fame and fortune ,.. where only fame has change of getting immortal .
Fortune is secondary to fame , if ones lucky , fortune will follow fame .
Spreading fame won't bring fortune , spreading fortune brings fame .
Sharing is caring , do your thing .

ill won't forget to mention you when i have a smoke with Rogan .,.. ;-)
