RE: The wood as an indicator of rising inflation [Ger/Eng]

I guess people build houses out of wood because it is cheaper than bricks and concrete. Even in a normal house made of bricks, a lot of wood is used; the roof trusses and the formwork for the foundations are always made of wood. If the environmental factor is soon to be included in the prices, then wooden houses are the best choice, since concrete and bricks are very expensive to manufacture.
