Judgment and self-criticism is the first thing that assaults us when we have erred in some activity or because it simply did not go as we had thought, but to stop and know what is happening to you is a very important step to stop the self-sabotage that we do very often, excellent post @kemmyb

Well said, @devania. You just about captured the message I was trying to pass across. It's very easy to critcise ourselves so much that we can be depressed as a result. Now I understand why some therapist advise patients to learn to forgive themselves first. More like we should go easy on ourselves.
