When it comes to building games you have to think of the assets that you can use within the game. Like say when you are building the 2D game, you have plenty of sources out there. I prefer some of the sources which are free and they are not trying to sue me for using them. For example, you build something with AI asset then make sure to not worry about that.
Buildbox has the asset store. You have that asset search option in the left hand sidebar and you have like some credits assigned for the same. And if you use them they would need some amount of coins of credit to pay for making the assets.
Classic application that has the option to add the external assets is another option too. You have to make sure to use it in such a way that you would be able to use these assets for the development of the Hyper casual games and the games which are rather easy to make as well. As of now the game making with the Buildbox is rather expensive in overall cost.
If you choose to use the apps like Nightcafe studio, Leonardo AI. These are some of the applications that you can make use of for the 2D asset development. And that would also make some good amount of assets which are free to add and also they can make things easier to develop into as well.
So what would you choose? Itch, Unity store, any other asset store of your choice? Either way make sure to choose the 2D asset initial that does not have a strong cost and you have to make sure to use those assets for the development of the casual games and also those hyper casual games which can make things easier to work and use with as well.
Buildbox Classic is a good app but a lot of issues as overall cost of the making game is going to increase with the same. But I prefer having the low cost as much as possible with the same. I know there are people who use those for the development of something simple but still more cost in assets the higher the total cost.
