Buildbox is made by a guy who used to do a lot of projects in the Hyper casual section of the gaming. And he made many templates which kind of added into a program like Buildbox 2D. I happened to knew that part but never purchased the product when it was free or like in that phase when it was super easy to buy. Now things have gone more expensive.
Now the 137 USD a year is a bit too high for me. And I can't justify but I am going to build some projects that would bring results and kind of give me enough funds to justify that and if we do reach that goal in a year then well and good.

Once you open the Buildbox classic you would find the coins on the left and also the variety of options of trying out the platformer and other demos before you can make the game out on that part. Most of the things are drag and drop and you just have to bring your own stuff.

As you can see you get to choose coins, distance and points while making the game. All of this slowly catches up with you. And if you know how to build the gaming assets based flow for your game, then just pick and replace.
So what are the limitations? Basically you have very limited way to add remove assets. In fact they are forcing the AI assistant usage which is coin based. Which makes it harder for anyone to even use the asset for the free. Most of the asset browser is kind of mess to work with. As they want the users to upgrade to the Buildbox 3.

I understand there is a need to make money and all. I just don't understand how the too much of the gatekeeping on every single asset that you do. I mean if things were that bad with apple, this company takes to the new level on amount of control they want to have on your work.
