One of the thing about the 2D Games is that you have to add the audio and the video content regularly. And this should get the game on the order most of the time. Some of that games need to add variety of FX effects. I would be adding that in upcoming tutorial. But for now you should learn how to add the audio and the sound effects.
Buildbox Classic has there own type of the driver and the audio files that you can process using the app is something we have to consider. So when the games are exported to android, bbworld and the iOS format you have something to run and also make use of for the buildbox app in general.

Buildbox makes use of the OpenAL driver. This is an audio driver api designed forthe 3D audio and also makes use of the vendor neutral API. This is something you would not find with most of the hardware specific drivers. This is neutral and you can use it in any form of the games and also some of the good apps and the games you can make use of for the games in general.

So make sure to go to check out OpenAL. And then you can download the driver file and run the same with the Windows. For the Builbox there is a windows installer that you can run and also you would be able to make use of for the running the code and also getting the output for your games. So make sure to install the driver and you are good to go.

It would be removing the message that says you need to have the OpenAL sound driver. And the thing is that you would find the audio driver now gone from the game and some of the really good things that you would be seeing with the app here. So start with that and then add the components inside the game.
Once you learn how to set up the audio and variety of the effects that you can add to the game, that would be a good start. I would say that in that context it would be reasonable to add the audio to the games and the events, where the audio is triggered. You can also add the audio through the background and it works out.
I'll complete the additional tutorial on the adding event FX and I'll see you later in the week :)
