Midjourney - AI Bot on Discord

I have experimented with the variety of AI tools since last month. And I realized that AI tools are getting so much strong that there is literally no future left for the artists. And it seems like in near future the artists would be resigning from the art.

So what made me so confident about the midjourney AI? I wish to explain that point of view.

Midjourney is a Discord bot which allows you to create the images with the specific resolution. Here you can edit and configure variety of effects into the image and also all of that through the prompt system.

You make sure to create the Midjourney account. And once you do make sure to sign up to discord and follow the invite. Once you join the Midjourney room, you'd have access to the bot. And that bot would take specific commands to draw images.

Next thing would be learning how to use the prompt effectively. Like say it would require you to use the "/imagine" option. And then explain the prompt before you can send it as a command through the chat text box to the bot.

You can also make the variations with the image that you generate. Like you want different variations of same concept. Here you would be getting the upscale version of the color and the art. And that seems like a good option for those who want to work on the final output.

My observation:

Midjourney is a good bot. It can do most of the good designs based on the prompt. however don't expect the Anime like output just yet. A lot of polishing and the final good quality output is missing here. So you may want to consider this bot as far from complete and also it may not be something you would rely on for the commercial work. If that's what you want then you should consider some other AI art tool.

I feel the artists are going to suffer if such tools are going to be easy for the new generation to use. Like they won't be picking up hobby like art in near future. And instead we would be forced to do the physical work based hobby and that would be one of the thing AI is forcing us to do.

Let's wait for AI tools to code on their own and that would be kind of end of my job too. And then I may have to go for the homesteading and live in some remote place or forest as working at office would be no more the thing.

In short, Midjourney bot is cool but its good only if you can't draw otherwise for artists it's like living with Side Chick.
