Hello everyone, it's another episode on the name challenge, titled "the story behind the name" . I was nominated by @yechee and I'll be discussing the story behind my username. But then, what if there's no story behind it? Like I had to keep trying different names until my current username got picked. I'd just say the hive platform gave me and they owe me an explanation, hahaha. No lies, the meaning came after I had chosen the name when I entered a challenge just like this. It sounded more like David wisdom, so it definitely was, like D for David, and “wixer” for wisdom- I just needed something to write else I'd be questioned for having a blank post. Instead of writing about the meaning of my username, I'll actually be writing about "the story behind the name". What transpired between my brain and phone when I was choosing the username until I finally arrived at this.
August 6, 2020 was the day the account was created. My real name is "Shem". The easiest username would have been "Shemzy" but the name was already in use. In my small town we were fond of adding "zy" to our names, the "zee" pronunciation was cool for every name and I used it often until I couldn't use it anymore. To have another fun name, I kept trying out cool names, then lo and behold, my tongue twisted and my pallets gave way to my larynx , then I pronounced something strange but cool. That was how the name originated, I used "xer" instead of "za" and it was perfect. The meaning- I don't know initially, then I gave it one, "David wisdom" my step dad's name and it seemed to be divinely arranged
If I can change my username
It'll be "Mr-capable". It was my other nickname aside from "Shemzy". Why I didn't use it then was because I needed a new name. Mr capable stands for I'm capable, it speaks very much of my personality. There's no task that I can't do if I am determined to do it. As a child, the doctor restricted me from doing certain tasks because of an illness. It's unfortunate that I didn't grow up with a silver spoon, I needed to work to feed, so instead of relying on the doctor's recommendation not to work, I just had to tell myself I'm capable. I get sick each time I do heavy jobs , but I'm capable.

I absolutely enjoyed reading this post. From the "zy" era that influenced everyone's nickname pre 2020 and the connecting dots from "Dwixer" to the combination of your real names. I find it super intriguing and I'm glad it ended up being something cool to pronunce and look at.
