RE: One of the best tips you will hear to combat adversity.

Tribes: I only believe n tribes (own token and all) when devs are part of the team to bring the tribe forward with a cool UI + additional features for whatever is need to make such tribe successful. I don't believe in the so many tribes out there taking the standard UI while not tailoring their tribe to the needs. PoB seems to be successful, though that one is pushed by some of the LEO whales, as far as I understand. Not sure what the token is doing at the moment after a big hype earlier this year. I think it's losing some of its value in recent weeks/months..... Ok, just checked.... it is losing quite a lot of its value in the last month, at least 50%. I have no clue why that is, but probably a set of reasons incl overhyped in its early days as well as no dev around the tribe.

HIVE: in my view, HIVE is still way too small to fall apart into tribes and all, hence I like the community feature. That said, the community features are not good enough yet.

New Community: I'm all for launching a new community aiming at the topics you mentioned. Would love to have such a corner. As you, many times I had the urge to launch one. In the end, I launched qsounds community, but for some reason, I lost energy again to keep on promoting it. Then suddenly Qanon peeps started to post in that community, probably because the branding was 'Q' when I launched it. Another reason I probably stopped promoting this community, is the fact I'm the only one in the team :) With some good peeps (I know I few), it would become easier to get and, foremost, keep things going. Will your internet situation change for the better any time soon? Read 'soon' as in sometime this year? With my Curie vote power, we can even give some additional rewards. At the same time, we shall hunt for OCD support and all. When possible also from theycallmedan and others. Who knows, later in time when HIVE becomes more popular, or the new community becomes more popular with quality and fun content, a tribe can be establish. At that time its gonna be easier as well to add some devs to the team, which is required imho.

Anyway, from time to time I get lots of energy to start something new at HIVE, but at the same time I feel reluctant because of the dynamics around blogging (super low engagement, too many just post dropping, too many curator teams continuously handing out large votes for peeps that are not playing the social element within HIVE, which doesn't help to improve the status quo).

Let me know when you think of some new project or approach, or you like to contribute to a cool community. Always open for 1) good ideas 2) good discussions 3) working with valued users to at least try to do something different in the HIVE eco-system.
