¡Hola! ¿Cómo están? Primera vez que escribo en esta comunidad y creo que lo haré seguido. Últimamente he visto muchas series y películas, así que hoy me atrevo a compartir mis impresiones sobre una miniserie mexicana que vi el fin de semana en Netflix.
“Todo va a estar bien” es el título de esta mini serie que tiene 8 capítulos y cada uno dura 30 minutos aproximadamente. Es de Diego Luna, el famoso actor mexicano, por cierto me enteré que existía porque escuché una entrevista donde habló de ella y de inmediato la metí en mi lista.
Hi, how are you? First time I write in this community and I think I will do it often. Lately I've been watching a lot of series and movies, so today I dare to share my impressions about a Mexican mini-series that I watched over the weekend on Netflix.
"Todo va a estar bien" is the title of this mini series that has 8 chapters and each one lasts 30 minutes approximately. It's by Diego Luna, the famous Mexican actor, by the way I found out it existed because I heard an interview where he talked about it and I immediately put it on my list.
La trama central es de una familia de mamá, papá e hija, que viven en Ciudad de México, pero son un matrimonio que tiene tiempo ya separados y muestran esa dinámica rara que hay entre los tres y su círculo más cercano.
The central plot is about a family of mom, dad and daughter, who live in Mexico City, but they are a married couple who have been separated for a long time and they show that weird dynamic that exists between the three of them and their closest circle.
Los primeros 3 capítulos en mi opinión son como flojos, no pasan grandes cosas, pero sí vas conociendo todos los defectos de todos, las costumbres del día a día y hasta modismos mexicanos. Esta parte me encantó mucho porque mostraron cosas que uno como extranjero no conoce, se siente que estas con los personajes allí en sus espacios.
The first 3 chapters in my opinion are kind of weak, no big things happen, but you get to know all the flaws of everyone, the customs of everyday life and even Mexican idioms. I really loved this part because they showed things that as a foreigner you don't know, you feel like you are with the characters there in their spaces.
En los capítulos 4,5 y 6 se desarrolla más la trama, cosas que venían sucediendo en los 3 primeros explotan aquí, dan más detalles de otras cosas y como ya conoces a los personajes te parece más entretenido.
In chapters 4, 5 and 6 the plot develops more, things that were happening in the first 3 explode here, they give more details of other things and as you already know the characters you find it more entertaining.
Ya cuando llegas a los capítulos 7 y 8 te preguntas cómo va a terminar todo este lío que se armó, aquí es donde te lanzan unas cuantas situaciones inesperadas que uno en la vida cotidiana supone que pasan, que has escuchado cuentos pero aquí te los muestran y aplaudo que se arriesgaran a plantearlo y que lo contaran de una manera normal. El final, es controvertido pero si ellos son felices, bien por ellos.
By the time you get to chapters 7 and 8 you wonder how all this mess is going to end, this is where they throw a few unexpected situations at you that in everyday life you assume happen, that you have heard stories about but here they show them to you and I applaud that they took the risk to bring it up and tell it in a normal way. The ending, it's controversial but if they are happy, good for them.
Eso sí, de principio a fin de la serie hacen críticas de temas que vivimos en este momento, lo que también me pareció increíble para que esto quede en algún lado del internet y por que no, ver otros puntos de vista, que sea tema de conversación después de cada capítulo si lo ves acompañado.
Of course, from the beginning to the end of the series they make criticisms of issues that we live in this moment, which I also found incredible so that this remains somewhere on the internet and why not, see other points of view, which is a topic of conversation after each chapter if you see it accompanied.
Los elementos como la música, la iluminación, el vestuario, los escenarios y hasta la fotografía fueron muy bien cuidados para darle realismo a la historia. El guión me pareció increíble porque como lo dije arriba fueron desarrollando la trama de una manera bastante fluida y a medida que avanza te sorprende hasta el final.
The elements such as music, lighting, costumes, scenery and even photography were very well cared for to give realism to the story. I thought the script was incredible because as I said above they developed the plot in a very fluid way and as it progresses it surprises you until the end.
¿Ya la habían visto? Denle una oportunidad por lo menos al trailer…
