❤️❤️❤️ In the last post I reported that the two children have neither a kitchen nor a toilet.
We had decided to build both.
As there is no plumbing system there,
the toilets are of course different from ours.
They are simple latrines.
Water is fetched from the water tank or well using jerry cans.
A deep hole has to be dug.
A screen must of course also be built.
That's a lot of work, as you can see.
Many people in Africa have no toilet and therefore no privacy.
For us, a toilet is a matter of course.
It's sad that this is not the case for everyone in the world!

daß die beiden Kinder weder eine Küche noch eine Toilette haben.
Wir hatten uns entschieden, beides zu bauen.
Da es dort kein Leitungssystem gibt,
unterscheiden sich die Toiletten natürlich von unseren.
Es sind einfache Latrinen.
Das Wasser wird mit Kanistern vom Wassertank oder Brunnen geholt.
Es muß ein tiefes Loch gegraben werden.
Ein Sichtschutz muß natürlich auch gebaut werden.
Das ist eine Menge Arbeit, wie ihr sehen könnt.
Viele Menschen in Afrika haben keine Toilette und damit keine Privatsphäre.
Für uns ist eine Toilette eine Selbstverständlichkeit.
Traurig, dass das nicht für alle Menschen auf der Welt gilt!

Wir können uns in so ein Leben denke ich schlecht herein versetzen, da wir ja alle Annehmlichkeiten haben. Ich stelle mir das auch sehr Menschenunwürdig vor, wen man dabei keine Privatsphäre hat. Da ist so eine Latrine schon eine super Lösung. Freut mich das sie es realisieren konnten, Hoffe das sie sich noch vieles Bauen können, um ein wenig Komfort zu haben.

Das ist alles nur eine Frage des Geldes.....
Jo leider ist immer das Geld das große Problem.
Das kann man sich halt echt schwer bis gar nicht vorstellen so komplett ohne Toilette zu leben. Das war hier schon ein Graus, als ich wegen Umbau über ein Monat keine hatte und immer ins Rathaus rüber laufen musste zur Öffentlichen.

Es gibt Regenzeiten, dann mußt du raus und dort gibt es kein Rathaus...
Für die Frauen ist es noch schwieriger als für die Männer.
