I initially did not know what the proof of brain community was all about. I saw some users using the tag and kept on wondering where people just manufacture tags from. Some weeks after, I saw the proof of brain community on hive, and my interest got piqued a bit at that point. I visited the community and read a couple of posts about the community itself and the POB token.
I still did not jump ship immediately but gave it a bit of time before deciding to use the tag in one of my posts. I did not want to be accused of tag spamming, to be honest. I did nothing again until I saw some POB tokens in my hive-engine wallets about a few weeks after. I was kind of curious where the token came from, forgetting about what I have read earlier. I dug further and ended up in the POB Discord server where I got to know about the proofofbrain.io interface and some other interesting information.
I started building interests gradually and decided to be posting directly into the community using the main interface. Even when I had zero POB power, I got a bit of support from the users on the platform and this got me more interested and motivated to be part of the community more. I started powering up some of my earnings while selling some. I witnessed the price dropping significantly and felt bad for a bit but never deterred at all. I really love the spirit of the community.
I have been following developments closely for a while and decided on my mind that the POB community is a community I will love to be identified with. Today, I powered up all the tokens I have accumulated over time and will be looking to pick up some more tokens in the market to further increase my power.
This is me saying 'thank you' to the proof of brain community. Together, we can build a strong second layer on hive, devoid of the usual toxicities that seem to poison the first layer.
I like the community myself. Though I would love to see some more STEM articles around. We're glad to have you around, though.
I got more endeared to the community due to the genuine engagement I get on my posts. I will definitely be posting here in the short and long term. Going to try and build my power as well so that I can also reward good contents in the community. Thanks for being one of my top supporters here.

Thanks for the information. I've been actually using pob tag without digging much into their details like pob token but just like @scholaris.pob would love to see STEM articles, I will join the train soon. hopefully my next stem article
I looked into POB a while back thinking the name was something worth checking out. I just didn't see anything that attracted me. Seemed like a lot of posts about POB itself and silly stuff like pictures of people's breakfast getting crazy rewards while good posts got zilch. I was turned off quickly.
Since you are recommending it, I may give it another look and try for content. The token is another story though, no interest there at all.
I agree that there use to be more posts about POB itself than actual real content, perhaps that is what deterred me initially. But with time, I have started seeing good content that I resonate with and the second layer seems less toxic with more genuine engagement than the first layer.
I will have to give it a try. I am finding communities may be the better way to go, especially those with niche purposes.
Many of the niche communities on here are just repos of content with very little engagement.

It's been mainly POB lately if we are talking about direct engagement on my post. Of course, I engage with authors in various other communities and many of them respond accordingly.
Just made my first post to POB with @itsmrhino so we will see how the content works there.
