I'm actually surprised SPS has managed to hold the value it has. I put a 0.01/0.02 evaluation on it before it released. For a token that is being airdropped by the thousands daily its value is holding very well. There's a good chance this token will be worth $1+ after the airdrop concludes in a years time but its too early too tell (not financial advice). Rewards for staking start tomorrow so that might help sustain the price or possibly even increase it some.
I had a similar thought, that's why I pulled my airdropped SPS and staked it instead. Still need an uptick before I can sell the SPS I've purchased though as you don't profit by selling for less than you purchase...lol
