But as the night progressed, the Indian army got ready and won the war in the morning. I am not in favor of war of any country because politicians get thousands of innocent soldiers killed for their greed. Well, my thoughts cannot put an end to any war except my thoughts.  Posted In: Hive Learners | Although this seems to be a topic more directed at parents, I would like to offer my point of view as a daughter. First, I want to clarify that this is more of a reflection and not a reproach to my parents, who, like all parents, did not have an absolute manual on "How to Raise Children" and did the best they could with their life experience. To provide a bit of context, my parents come from incomplete families: my father was raised by a single mother who only completed four years of primary school. My mother was raised by her paternal grandmother, as her father preferred to marry a virgin woman rather than the mother of his two children. It is evident that our upbringing leaves deep seated experiences and lessons in us, and of course, some traumas. In my particular experience, I believe it would have been more enriching for my development if my parents had been helicopter parents ... |

 Posted In: Cinnamon Cup Coffee | Manila has always been special to me. I spent my college years there and recently had to visit my alma mater with @gabbiebi to get some documents. After wrapping up our errands, we decided to check out one of the coffee shops we've been meaning to visit. Elsewhere Cafe is located on the 3rd floor of a building beside De La Salle College of St. Benilde. We spotted the Elsewhere cafe sign outside but we weren't really sure how to get there.
