People hate unsolicited advice. I try hard to avoid giving it, including the times I downvote. When someone asks, I give my reasons (preferably in a tone corresponding to the way the question was asked). I do not think forcing unsolicited advice by default is a good step (even if majority feels it is justified). Obviously, it can work as a tribe rule. It is one that builds a bit of a fence around the tribe land, though.
