IMPRESIONANTE es la palabra que representa mi sorpresa ante los eventos que se dieron en los últimos días, me refiero a las múltiples inundaciones que se presentan en el norte de Argentina y Paraguay.

Esta fotografía es de un momento en que las cataratas del Iguazú permanecieron en sequía por un período de tiempo, en estos últimos días el retrato que tenemos es totalmente opuesto a la sequía.

Las cataras del Iguazú registraron en estos últimos días un caudal de mas de 24 mil litros por segundo, algo impresionante, esta es una marca récord. Esto ha sucedido debido a la creciente del río Paraná que divide Paraguay y Brasil, en este río se ubican 5 represas la mas cercana a las cataratas es la represa Itaipú que abrió sus compuertas, a tan solo 3 km sobre el río Acaray también de abrieron las compuertas de la represa Acaray, todo esto sumado a la continuidad de las lluvias originó este fenómeno en las cataratas.

Poco a poco esta situación se va regulando, las lluvias disminuyen, solo esperamos que también mejore la situación de las personas damnificadas por este fenómeno a parte de las inundaciones de las cataratas del Iguazú.
