Do you want to travel to the Moon? 🌙 . After several years, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is preparing a new trip to the Moon.
Under the name of Artemis II mission, this flight aims to take another step toward crewed missions to the surface of the Moon and will be of great help in preparing for future crewed journeys to planet Mars.
For this trip, four crew members are scheduled to participate—three from NASA and one from the Canadian Space Agency.
The flight is expected to last 10 days. The spacecraft will carry the four astronauts around the Moon and return to Earth without landing on the lunar surface. A journey of this kind has not been undertaken since 1972, with the Apollo 17 mission being the last one to do so.
A fun fact related to the mission's name: Artemis was the twin sister of the god Apollo and was the goddess of the Moon in Greek mythology. Additionally, the mission will include the first woman to travel beyond low Earth orbit.

Después de varios años la Administración Nacional de Aeronáutica y el Espacio (NASA) está preparando un nuevo viaje a la Luna.
Con el nombre de misión Atermis II, este vuelo tiene el objetivo de dar un paso más hacia misiones tripuladas a la superficie de la Luna y será de gran ayuda en la preparación hacia futuros viajes tripulados al planeta Marte.
Para este viaje está prevista la participación de cuatros tripulantes. Tres pertenecientes a la NASA y uno a la Agencia Espacial Canadiense.
Está previsto que el vuelo tenga una duración de 10 días, la nave llevara a los cuatro astronautas más allá de la Luna y regresara a la tierra sin tocar la superficie lunar. Desde el año 1972 no se realiza un viaje de este tipo, siendo la misión Apolo 17 la última en realizarse.
Una curiosidad relacionada con el nombre de la misión, Artemis era la hermana gemela del dios Apolo y era la diosa de la Luna en la mitología griega. Además, en la misión va a participar la primera mujer en viajar más allá de la órbita baja terrestre.
