A Trojan from Earth

Confirmation of the existence of a second Trojan asteroid from Earth, this achievement was achieved using telescopes of the European Space Agency's Optical Ground Station in Tenerife Spain, also the 4.1 meter Southern Astrophysical Research Telescope located in cerro pachón in chile and the lo web 4.3 meter discovery telescope at lowell observatory in arizona usa.

With these instruments, the asteroid called 2020 TK7 has been studied, it is about 1000 meters in diameter and as its name indicates it was discovered in 2020, but it is now that its most special feature has been confirmed and that is that it is a Trojan.

A trojan from earth, asteroids trapped in regions of space where that balance the sun's gravitational pull with that of a planet are called trojans, these regions are known as lagrange points, trojans orbit the sun at roughly the same orbit than the planet but meet in a group near the two stable lagrange points, one in front of the planet on l4 and one behind it on l5.

Most Trojan asteroids are found in the orbit of Jupiter, there are about 10,000 identified there but there could be millions, to date the earth had only one trail of Trojan called 2010 tk7 and discovered in 2011, the one that has been identified now is much greater although astronomers calculate that it will not be a Trojan forever, in about four thousand years it will leave the farm point of the earth and possibly end up in a highly electrical orbit around the sun as it happens with many other asteroids, without posing a danger to us, at least in thousands of years.
Terrestrial Trojans are particularly interesting as they could be leftover material from the formation of the earth, even if they weren't if they came from far away, it has the advantage that their relatively stable orbits make them ideal destinations for a space mission.

Imagine a space station in that trojan! So hard sci-fi 🔥🤣
True that yes, the imagination is the limited
