Only one name comes to mind when I read and saw this but then I believe the future of bitcoin scares wealthy people who aren't in, especially those on a daily using their influence to talk about why bitcoin might fail and of course we have those manipulating the price action behind the scenes

I agree with you that it only "scares those that aren't in"... Others who have invested a lot, are usually those who manipulate... So, they have no reason to be scared at all... :)
