Warmest greetings all, and especially to @friendlymoose for the reminder post today about this week's contest which is Insects
If we look around insects are everywhere but being able to capture them with a mobile phone, sometimes, isn't so easy. I'm talking about myself though. I've several times to capture one but wasn't making headway until I got lucky with this one and that's a FLY sitting comfortably on my achara.
Some insects are just so daring. 😂
I was preparing the achara plant (also called elephant grass) which will be used for soup making and this fly was doing its work of flying around. Well, both of us were doing our work.
Next thing it perched on the achara. I looked at it for a while, luckily my phone was close by so I picked it up and started taking shots. Surprisingly it didn't make any attempt to fly away until the last shot.
Maybe it knew that I needed it for this contest or it was feeding on something that caught its attention.
