This is a very hot topic, to which I have even shied away from giving my opinion, but somehow I think the best solution is the lifting of sanctions, I believe in a world of balances, and these countries sanctioning Russia today, as previously they have not sanctioned it when other powers have started unjust wars against weak nations.
