My Entry to the POBPhotoContest - Water || Agua [ENG/ESP]

Water || Agua

Water is a fairly common substance on our planet, covering just over 70% of its surface, and is undoubtedly indispensable for the origin and sustenance of life, to such an extent that it is present in a high proportion in our own bodies.

In this new round of the POBPhotoContest, our good friend @friendlymoose invites us to share photos of this vital liquid in its various presentations, from tiny drops to huge water reservoirs such as a lake or the ocean.

Near my home there is a beautiful urban park, which I have visited with some frequency since the beginning of last year, attracted by the intimate contact with nature, but also by the opportunity to get good pictures that contribute to renew and expand my image bank.

Within its facilities there is an artificial pond or lagoon, which remained empty for a long time due to filtration problems, but after the corresponding waterproofing works were carried out and put back into operation, it has become one of the major attractions of the park, particularly in recent weeks, after allowing the rental for a modest price of rowboats for those who wish to navigate its waters and satisfy their desire to sail.

As I have described in previous publications, I used the editing tools offered by Picsart and Snapseed applications to intervene the original image to my satisfaction.

El agua es una sustancia bastante común en nuestro planeta, cubriendo poco más de un 70% de su superficie, y sin duda alguna es indispensable para el origen y sustento de la vida, a tal punto, que está presente en una alta proporción en nuestros propios cuerpos.

En esta nueva ronda del POBPhotoContest, nuestro buen amigo @friendlymoose nos invita a compartir fotos de este vital líquido en sus diversas presentaciones, desde minúsculas gotas hasta enormes reservorios de agua como un lago o el oceáno.

En las cercanías de mi hogar se encuentra un hermoso parque urbano, al que he acostumbrado visitar con alguna frecuencia desde principios del año pasado, atraído por el contacto íntimo con la naturaleza, pero también por la oportunidad de obtener buenas fotografías que contribuyan a renovar y ampliar continuamente mi banco de imágenes.

Dentro de sus instalaciones se encuentra un estanque o laguna artificial, la cual permaneció por mucho tiempo vacía por problemas de filtración, pero luego de realizarse los trabajos de impermeabilización correspondientes y ponerla nuevamente en funcionamiento, se ha convertido en uno de los mayores atractivos del parque, particularmente en las últimas semanas, luego de que permitieran el alquiler por un módico precio de botes de remos para quienes deseen surcar sus aguas y saciar sus ansias de navegantes.

Tal como lo he descrito en publicaciones anteriores, usé las herramientas de edición que ofrecen las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed para intervenir las imágenes originales a mi entera satisfacción.
