Most of the numbers photos in my archives are on Hwy signs, and US 421 in the northeastern corner of the U.S. state of Tennessee is one of the nation's senic roads.

Famously known to motorcyclists and sports car enthusiasts as THE SNAKE, the road boasts 1 valley , 3 mountains and 489 curves.

I've only ever been a passenger in a sports car with the top down on this road, but it was certainly an adventure!
Trucks are warned away. I can't imagine driving those tight hairpin curves in a truck!

There are amazing views along the 37 mile loop and plenty of pullouts to stop and enjoy them!
