WHY YOU SHOULD BE ON HIVE
With so many cryptocurrencies and blockchains it is easy to just buy into the hype created by those using it. Every blockchain at the moment will tell you things like: this is the only blockchain worth investing in, this blockchain will moon, this blockchain is the first to do this. Some information is miss leading some is outright lies and some I feel is the case of them just not knowing about what all the other blockchains are doing, let's be honest there is a lot them.
So what makes Hive any different?
Hive has been around for years now and was originally Steem blockchain. A company by the name Steemit started the Steem blockchain and was seeking to make it community based social media blockchain, to make that easy to understand basically Facebook on blockchain.
Everything was going fine until Steemit was bought out by Justin Sun then owner of TRON blockchain. This was fine until a decision was made to get rid of Steem blockchain and give everyone TRON tokens as compensation. The community rebelled and broke away from Steem and HIVE blockchain was born.
The big difference with between other blockchains and Hive is that they are run by companies/businesses and or individuals or at least all the ones I have looked into are with the exception of Bitcoin.
Hive is not, Hive is run by the community for the community. Hive is truly decentralized. No one has access to your Hive wallet but you. In light of recent events I would say this is pretty important.
Hive blockchain not only has social media posting capabilities written, photos and video. It also has games, fitness and other apps built on it.
So don't listen to those Bitcoiners that say Bitcoin is the only true crypto or the other blockchains that tell you that they decentralized. Make the change to Hive and become part of the community.
Hive truly is a great and unique community. So far, I can say I have been enjoying my stay here.
That's great to hear. Make sure recommend Hive to others. If we tell others that we talk to in our daily lives and they use Hive we are more likely to use Hive more ourselves.
