RE: My uncle, my grandmother and the labyrinthine fragments of childhood // Meu tio, minha avó e os fragmentos labirínticos da infância

in Proof of Brain4 years ago

I'm not sure there's a kid in the world who doesn't have a hide out, a place we escape to, to indulge in our fantasies. Another place might be just fine, but we can't help but escape to a particular spot. What is normally discovered at those spots like the pornographic magazine you saw, are things we only keep to ourselves.

As kids no matter how innocent we are, there are things and places we avoid for some reasons.

As for your uncle's singleness, that was the highpoint of this post for me. You can be lose yourself by trying to cater for others.

While it is good to take care of others, it is equally excellent that we tend to our own needs.

Your use of words is amazing @thomasnblum

Thanks so much for reading and commenting, buddy! In fact, children have this search for their "magical" and safe places. I have fond memories of those times, as well as so many others! Have a great week!
