They warn that Venezuela is left without health personnel

Low wages have been "adding fear" and, "many staff, knowing that they will go to work without materials or that they will not be vaccinated"
The focus of Venezuela's health crisis has often been put on its infrastructures and not on the workers, who have been living a constant exodus for years. To date, the conditions in which they denounce that they work under the threat of COVID-19 have meant that, according to their data, 549 have died.
"From 2014 to 2019, there was a very important migration of professionals from all areas," Jorge Lorenzo, the executive director of the NGO Médicos Unidos de Venezuela, explained to Efe about the general panorama of the country, from which they have left close to 5 million people due to the crisis, according to UN data.
In the health sector, Lorenzo clarified, mentioning union studies, "32,000 doctors had left" until March of last year, when the pandemic began, while in the specialty of bioanalysis and nursing, until December 2020, there had been an exodus of between 60 and 70% of the total.
That can be seen - he assured - with the naked eye, because "in Spain the numbers of (Venezuelan) doctors are very high", a situation that "is reproduced in Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Colombia, Panama, Mexico, the United States or France. .
Improper wages linked to the pandemic
“A doctor with a 30-year graduate degree, 25 years as a specialist who is still on night shift until April 30, earned $ 18 a month,” Lorenzo pointed out by way of example.
In addition, there are poor working conditions and the sector, aggravated in a pandemic in which, he denounced, they have not had adequate protection and still do not receive the eternal promise of vaccines.
Fear has been added to the low salaries and, "many personnel, knowing that they will go to work without materials or that they will not be vaccinated," simply look for another work alternative, said the director of the NGO, who added that, since December, "the health personnel began to make another migration without leaving the country, looking for other work alternatives."
"Some went to the private sector, others began to take care of patients at home and others went from health to work in something else," he stressed.
As a consequence, "there are services that previously had ten nurses on a night shift and now have one or no one."
Half a thousand deaths
The number of toilets killed by COVID-19 is almost a state secret in Venezuela. The authorities, whose numbers of deaths from the new disease have been highly criticized, have not released data on doctors or nurses who have perished since the start of the pandemic.
Faced with this silence, Médicos Unidos de Venezuela has been constantly spreading the number of workers in the health sector who have lost their lives, providing data, identities and states in which they resided.
So far, 549 health workers have died, a figure that may not seem very high, but it does sound alarming when contrasted with the total number of deaths, which, according to the Government, is 2,428
They are in a situation that fills the health worker every day with anguish and despair when he sees the situation and the risk to which he is exposed every day in order to support his family
This problem leads the health worker to live in a dilemma but still with vocation and dedication, he will fulfill his work schedules
Waiting for God to take care of each one of them and also waiting for me to get the benefit of the vaccines and they can supply all the health centers with biosafety material
Venezuela is left without health personnel or they die or emigrate from the country.
is this mostly copy pasted?...
